Weekend Visitors and Tummy Troubles

Grandma and Grandpa

Gabe was very much the center of attention this weekend. Which isn’t actually different than any other weekend, or weekday for that matter. This weekend WAS special because Grandma and Grandpa came to visit Gabe our family, bearing baby presents and an insatiable need to cuddle their grandson. Since Gabe has an equally insatiable need to be cuddled and loved, this was a positive situation for all involved (except for Mommy, who had to share,… but then again she also shared dirty diaper duty, so she has no right to complain!).

I didn’t get to try out my Tuscan cookbook this weekend because my tummy still isn’t completely recovered from the flu bug. I guess sea bass in a caper sauce will just have to wait until another special occasion, like when I can actually find a source for sea bass AND have the appetite to try it. There is, however, a bread recipe from the book that I want to try out this week, which has rosemary and grapes baked in,… doesn’t that sound like an interesting combination?
