Expectations of Grandeur

I had to note that when the Bug was finally let loose on the kitchen floor today (see post below for details) he headed straight for our wine rack. Which has a decent collection of wine. Certainly not expensive wine, but the 15 – 20 dollar a bottle stuff,… the kind of wine I would miss if it was, say, destroyed by a baby waving a wooden mallet like the demolition force he is!

I was impressed when, in the time it took me to get to him and pry the bottle out of his hands, that the Bug had chosen a Chilean Chardonney as his bottle of choice. It really is the perfect choice to have with supper. (Unfortunately, the Bug is going to have to make do with milk and oatmeal,…. sucks to be a baby!)
